I don’t know.
Theory dictates that there is always some kind of energy function, and all your actions attempt to minimize it.
What is that energy function going forward?
It isn’t material wealth. If your iPhone is your phone, your chess board, your newpaper, and your friends, what else do you need? A luxury mansion is quite boring in comparison.
It’s difficult to be some kind of moral cause. What are the morals when people move into cyberspace where the laws of scarcity are not only not valid, but reversed?
It’d be nice to have a conversation with some intelligent people about this. But I don’t see anybody who thinks along the same lines.
